Tribo™ SOB Medium

Description

Tribo SOB (Super Optimal Broth) Medium is formulated according to Hanahan’s recipe. It is a highly-referenced microbial growth medium used for the preparation and transformation of competent cells like recombinant E. coli.

Compositions:

• 2.0% Tryptone.
• 0.5% Yeast extract.
• 10mM Sodium Chloride.
• 2.5mM Potassium Chloride.
• 10mM Magnesium Chloride.
• 10mM Magnesium Sulfate.
• pH: 7.0 ±0.2

Applications:
