SUV HSPC/CHOL/mPEG2000-DSPE (56.2/38.5/5.3) Liposomes with Ammonium Gradient (85 nm)

This liposome product has a small mean particles size of about 80-90 nm and a lipid composition comparable to that for the commercial Doxil. It can be used for active loading of weakly basic compunds.

Specifications

Lipid composition: HSPC/CHOL/mPEG2000-DSPE (56.2:38.5:5.3 mol/mol)

Mean particle size: 85 nm (80 – 90nm)

Lipid concentration: 60mM (60 – 70 mM)

Hydration buffer (loading battery): 250 mM ammonium sulfate

External solution: 10% sucrose, 20mM NaPO4, pH 6.5 ± 0.2

Storage and Stability: stable for 6 months when stored in refrigerator (2-8 degree C). Use within 4 weeks after first use.

HSPC: hydrogenated phosphatidylcholine (Soy)

CHOL: cholesterol

mPEG2000-DSPE: 18:0 PEG2000 PE:1,2-distearoyl-sn-glycero-3-phosphoethanolamine-N-[methoxy(polyethylene glycol)-2000] (ammonium salt)
