Functions

Inhibits glutathione peroxidase (GPX4) inducing ferroptosis. Effectively induces ferroptosis in glioblastoma cells. Everolimus in combination with RSL3 synergistically inhibits the viability of renal cell carcinoma (RCC) cells suggesting a mechanism by which RCC drug resistance may be overcome.
