In general, protein in liquid form is stable for up to 6 months at -20°C/-80°C. Protein in lyophilized powder form is stable for up to 12 months at -20°C/-80°C. |
| Reconstitution Instruction |
Briefly centrifuged the vial prior to opening to bring the contents to the bottom. Reconstitute protein in deionized sterile water to a concentration of 0.1-1.0 mg/mL. It is recommended to add 5-50% of glycerol (final concentration) and aliquot for long-term storage at -20°C/-80°C. The default final concentration of glycerol is 50%. |

Positive Control; Immunogen; SDS-PAGE; WB |
| Research Area |
Neuroscience, Cancer |
| Target Function |
Receptor for pituitary gland growth hormone involved in regulating postnatal body growth. On ligand binding, couples to the JAK2/STAT5 pathway.; The soluble form (GHBP) acts as a reservoir of growth hormone in plasma and may be a modulator/inhibitor of GH signaling.; Isoform 2 up-regulates the production of GHBP and acts as a negative inhibitor of GH signaling. |
| Subcellular Location |
Cell membrane; Single-pass type I membrane protein.; [Isoform 2]: Cell membrane; Single-pass type I membrane protein. |
| Protein Family |
Type I cytokine receptor family, Type 1 subfamily |
| Associated Diseases |
Laron syndrome (LARS); Growth hormone insensitivity, partial (GHIP) |
| Tissue Specificity |
Expressed in various tissues with high expression in liver and skeletal muscle. Isoform 4 is predominantly expressed in kidney, bladder, adrenal gland and brain stem. Isoform 1 expression in placenta is predominant in chorion and decidua. Isoform 4 is hig |
