Applications

GSK-3b and CDK inhibitor

Functions

A potent GSK-3β inhibitor (IC50=22 nM). Also inhibits CDK1 (IC50=180 nM) and CDK5 (IC50=100 nM). Displays antimitotic properties and induces endoreplication following prophase arrest in HBL-100 cells. Possesses antiangiogenic activity. Attenuates β-amyloid-associated neuropathology in a mouse model of Alzheimer’s disease. Cell permeable.

Application Procedures

First dissolved in DMSO (up to 6 mg/ml) or in Ethanol (up to 4 mg/ml), then diluted to aqueous buffer. Solutions in DMSO or ethanol may be stored at -20° for up to 3 months.
