Applications

MEK inhibitor

Functions

Potent and selective inhibitor of MEK. Acts via covalent binding to Cys residue. In cells, hypothemycin inhibits the MEK-ERK axis with sufficient selectivity to normalize transformed phenotypes. Inhibits TNFα production in LPS-stimulated macrophages.

Application Procedures

First dissolved in DMSO (up to 10 mg/ml), then diluted to aqueous buffer. Solutions in DMSO may be stored at -20°C for up to 3 months.
