Functions

Gilteritinib is a potent inhibitor of FLT3 (IC50 = 5 nM, wild-type FLT3) with more potent activity against all FLT3 mutants. It also potently inhibits Axl (IC50 = 41 nM). Clinically useful in the treatment of acute myeloid leukemia. Gilteritinib has also been shown to inhibit glutamine uptake and utilization via downregulation of glutamine transporters.

Application Procedures

First dissolved in DMSO (up to 25 mg/ml), then diluted to aqueous buffer. Solutions in DMSO may be stored at -20°C for up to 3 months.
