Applications

Elastase inhibitor

Functions

Irreversible inhibitor of neutrophil elastase. Inhibits rat microglia elastase. Inhibits the protease activity of poliovirus and rhinovirus 2A proteinase. Inhibits the α 2-macroglobulin-protease complex of mouse mammary tumor virus.

Application Procedures

First dissolved in DMSO (up to 3 mg/ml) or in Water (up to 5 mg/ml), then diluted to aqueous buffer. Solutions in DMSO or distilled water may be stored at -20°C for up to 1 month.
