Dofetilide is a clinically useful class III antiarrhythmic that inhibits the rapid component of the delayed rectifier outward potassium current (IKr) via selective blockage of the Kv11.1 (hERG) channel.

Application Procedures

First dissolved in DMSO (up to 25 mg/ml), then diluted to aqueous buffer. Solutions in DMSO may be stored at -20°C for up to 3 months.
