Applications

Hedgehog pathway antagonist

Functions

Novel Hedgehog signaling pathway inhibitor (IC50=100-200 nM). Selectively binds to Smo but not other GPCRs. Blocks the formation of and induces the regression of basaloid lesions in skin punches and shrinks UV-induced basaloid lesions in adult mouse skin. Cell permeable.

Application Procedures

First dissolved in DMSO (up to 40 mg/ml) or in Ethanol (up to 20 mg/ml), then diluted to aqueous buffer. Solutions in DMSO or ethanol may be stored at -20° for up to 2 months.
