Description

Plain Control Liposomes for Doxoves®

This product of plain liposomes contains all the ingredients and has similar physical properties as that for Doxoves®, except the drug. It contains the same lipid composition and the drug loading battery, ammonium sulfate inside the liposomes.

Lipid composition: HSPC/CHOL/mPEG2000-DSPE (56.2:38.5:5.3 mol/mol)

Lipid concentration: 40 mM

Dox HCl concentration: none

Loading battery: 250 mM ammonium sulfate

Mean particle size: 85 nm (80-90 nm)

External solution: 10% sucrose, 10 mM histidine, pH 6.0 – 6.5

Storage and Stability: stable for 6 months when stored in refrigerator (2-8 degree C). Use within 1 month weeks after first use or open in BSC to keep sterile for longer stability.

AVOID FREEZING

HSPC: hydrogenated phosphatidylcholine (Soy)

CHOL: cholesterol

mPEG2000-DSPE: 18:0 PEG2000 PE:1,2-distearoyl-sn-glycero-3-phosphoethanolamine-N-[methoxy(polyethylene glycol)-2000]
