Functions

A naturally occurring alkaloid which acts as an antimitotic agent by binding to tubulin and depolymerizing microtubules. Induces apoptosis in a variety of cell lines.

Application Procedures

First dissolved in DMSO (up to 25 mg/ml), in Water (up to 25 mg/ml) or in Ethanol (up to 25 mg/ml), then diluted to aqueous buffer. Solutions in DMSO, ethanol or distilled water may be stored at -20° for up to 3 months.
