Applications

Protein Phosphatase PP2A inhibitor

Functions

Inhibits protein phosphatase 2A (Ki=0.19 μM) and PP1 (Ki=1.1 μM). Displays >500-fold selectivity over PP2B. Suppresses growth and migration of PANC-1 pancreatic cancer cells via phosphorylation and degradation of β-catenin. Arrests G2/M transition via JNK/Sp1-dependent down-regulation of CDK1. Cell permeable. Warning: Avoid skin contact, may cause skin irritation or blistering.

Application Procedures

First dissolved in DMSO (up to 20 mg/ml) or in Ethanol (up to 5 mg/ml), then diluted to aqueous buffer. Solutions in DMSO or Ethanol may be stored at -20°C for up to 2 weeks.
