GRAMD1A inhibitor

Functions

Inhibitor of autophagy (autophagy induced by amino acid starvation IC50 = 270 nM; Rapamycin IC50 = 140 nM) acting via selective targeting of the cholesterol transfer protein GRAM domain-containing protein 1A (GRAMD1A). Autogramin-2 inhibition of GRAMD1A inhibits biogenesis of the autophagosome.

Application Procedures

First dissolved in DMSO (up to at least 25 mg/ml) or in Ethanol (25 mg/ml), then diluted to aqueous buffer. Solutions in DMSO or ethanol may be stored at -20°C for up to 1 month.
