Functions

Analog of FK-506. Potent immunosuppressant. Binds to FKBP12 and inhibits calcineurin and NFAT. Displays antiinflammatory effects in skin diseases. Cell permeable and active in vivo.

Application Procedures

First dissolved in DMSO (up to 50 mg/ml), or in Ethanol (up to 50 mg/ml with warming), then diluted to aqueous buffer. Solutions in DMSO or ethanol may be stored at -20° for up to 3 months.
