Applications

Dopamine receptor partial agonist

Functions

Clinically useful neuroleptic and antipsychotic agent. Dopamine D2 receptor antagonist and autoreceptor agonist. Improves symptoms of psychosis associated with Alzheimer’s disease. Blocks cocaine-seeking behavior without affecting other rewarding behaviors in animal models.

Application Procedures

First dissolved in DMSO (up to 30 mg/ml) or in Ethanol (up to 5 mg/ml with warming), then diluted to aqueous buffer. Solutions in DMSO or Ethanol may be stored at -20°C for up to 3 months.
