Functions

Amifostine is a broad sprectrun radio- and chemoprotective agent. Prevents chemotherapy-induced apoptosis, upregulates HIF-1α and restores transcriptional activity in specific p53 mutants.

Application Procedures

First dissolved in water, then diluted to aqueous buffer. Solutions in distilled water may be stored at -20°C for up to 3 months.
