Potent and selective inhibitor of glycogen synthase kinase-3 (GSK-3) IC50=5 nM. The first pharmacological agent shown to maintain self-renewal in human and mouse embryonic stem cells. Promotes proliferation in mammalian cardiomyocytes A potent inhibitor of malignant lymphoid cell proliferation.

Application Procedures

First dissolved in DMSO (up to 15 mg/ml), or in Ethanol (up to 4 mg/ml with warming), then diluted to aqueous buffer. Solutions in DMSO or ethanol may be stored at -20° for up to 2 months.
