Functions

Long-chain fatty acyl CoA synthetase inhibitor (IC50=3.6-8.7 μM). Inhibits mouse macrophage-derived foam cell formation and displays anti-atherosclerotic activity. Cell permeable.

Application Procedures

First dissolved in DMSO, then diluted to aqueous buffer. Solutions in DMSO may be stored at -20°C for up to 2 months.
