Description
Riboclear™ provides a convenient method for the clean-up of total RNA. Riboclear™ procedures employed the glass fiber membrane technology for the clean-up of total RNA, instead of conventional alcohol precipitation. RNA-containing samples mixed with buffer MS are applied to a mini spin column, followed by centrifugation. RNA binds to the silica membrane while most of the impurities pass through. The membrane is washed by buffer RNW for removal of some molecules bound nonspecifically. At last, pure RNA is eluted by RNase-free water. Riboclear™ procedure should be performed at room temperature. The eluate should be treated with care because RNA is very sensitive to contaminants, such as RNases, often found on general lab ware and dust. To ensure RNA stability, it is recommended to store at 4℃ for immediate analysis or to freeze at -70℃ for long-term storage.
Kit Sizes
303-150: 50 Samples
Applications
- Clean-up of total RNA, instead of conventional alcohol precipitation.
Key Features
Riboclear™ provides an easy and rapid method for RNA cleanup or concentration from various RNA samples in just 6 minutes. Riboclear™ eliminates alcohol precipitation by binding RNA with a column, allowing rapid and convenient preparation from various samples simultaneously. Purified RNA with Riboclear™ series is free of salts and enzymes in yields reaching 95% and is suitable for dot blotting, in vitro translation, cloning, RT-PCR, RNase protection assays, and other analytical procedures. Riboclear™ plus! kit provides DNase for the removal of DNA and microcolumn for the concentration of total RNA.
Storage Conditions
Riboclear™ should be stored at room temperature. All components are stable for 1 year.
